About this Project
Works with Nest is a program that allows third parties to integrate into the Nest ecosystem, enabling a variety of two-way communication possibilities including remote control of Nest devices, access to Nest Home and Away and certain trigger events.
My Contribution
I handled the end-to-end design of this feature, working closely with the product manager assigned to the task.
Researched the Works with Nest partner guidelines
Conducted competitive analysis of other Works with Nest integrations to determine best practices
Created the IA for account linking, returning user, removing and troubleshooting workflows
Created the UX for account linking, returning user, removing and troubleshooting workflows
Created the visuals and interface for account linking, returning user, removing and troubleshooting workflows
Conducted stakeholder reviews throughout each step of the design process
